Timothy Harrison

Instruments: Tuba, Trombone, Conductor

Timothy was born in Seattle, Washington but grew up primarily in La Verkin. He began his music career playing the flute. He switched to the tuba and trombone his junior year of High School and has been playing them ever since. He majored in music education and played all through college, including symphony, band, and jazz band at Utah Tech. He also served as the backup tuba player for the Southwest Symphony.

After getting his undergraduate degree, Timothy moved to San Juan County and became the band director at Whitehorse High School. He also played with the Cedar Mesa Symphony and, for two years, conducted the community’s Messiah program. He lived there for 9 years before moving back to Washington County to become the band director at Crimson Cliffs High School.

Timothy joined the Hurricane Valley Symphony as both a musician and conductor in Fall of 2026. He lives in St. George with his wife and two children.
