Instruments: Flute & Piccolo

Meridy has played the flute for nearly 30 years. She also played the piccolo in high school, and in 2021 decided to pick it up again. Meridy has played in band groups, pep band, small ensembles, and orchestras. She has played in the Hurricane Valley Symphony since its founding in 2018.

Outside of playing in the symphony, Meridy enjoys reading, as well as being creative, including sewing, crocheting, beadwork, and small paint projects. She also dabbles in graphic design and digital scrapbooking and used those skills to design the Hurricane Valley Symphony logo.

Meridy loves spending time with family, especially while eating good food and playing games. She traveled around a lot as a child but moved to Cedar City, Utah, just before seventh grade. Meridy currently lives in LaVerkin, Utah, with her husband Nate, and together they have six children.
