Instrument: Clarinet

Jacob started his musical career playing piano. He began playing the clarinet when he was in fourth grade under the tutelage of his mother Joan Howell, who is also a member of the Hurricane Valley Symphony. In addition to clarinet he plays alto sax, is learning how to play the oboe, and sings in his church choir. He has been a member of Hurricane Valley Symphony for two years.

Professionally, Jacob serves as an estate and tax planning/trust attorney. In his personal life, he is married with six children. He enjoys reading, playing ultimate Frisbee, speaking French, hiking, attending church, and spending time with his family.
