He has had the pleasure of performing with excellent professional musicians such as Allen Vizzutti, Chuck Findley, Bob Reynolds, and Andy Martin. He performs with the Rebel Jazz Band in St. George, RadioPlayer out of Las Vegas, and the ska sensation Seatbelts for Dinosaurs. He is excited and honored to work with the Hurricane Valley Symphony this season.
Ruth Batt has established herself as a musical staple in the St. George community since she moved here in 2007. She was a member of the Southwest Symphony on piccolo from 2011 to 2014. She directed the Washington City Concert Band from its inception in 2014 to 2017. She served as the VP of Productions for the Utah Wind Symphony under the direction of Scott Hagen from August 2018 to August 2019. She has performed frequently on flute and tin whistle with community groups such as the Heritage Choir, the Interfaith Community Choir, and the Celtic band Thistle and Knot.
Ms. Batt is thrilled to be joining the Hurricane Valley Symphony as assistant director alongside Mr. Nick Lanners.
