Dolores Heaton Jeppson grew up in Hurricane. She doesn’t play any musical instruments, but she does love logistics and administrative tasks. Dolores began working in Higher Education the week after high school graduation when she was still 17 years old. She spent the next 17 years in administrative roles at Utah Tech University, the University of Utah, and Utah State University before finally realizing her dream job of stay-at-home mom. She earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration from Utah Tech (then Dixie State University) followed by an MBA degree from Southern Utah University.

One of Dolores’s passions is organizing logistics for her loved ones’ passions. Over the years this has led her to several rewarding volunteer roles with organizations such as FIRST LEGO League and 4-H. Now she volunteers for the Hurricane Valley Symphony where her husband, Nick Jeppson, plays the cello, and their oldest son, age four, conducts the symphony from his chair in the audience.
